Malayalam director I.V.Sasi is no more

Noted film maker Irruppam Veedu Sasidaran also known as ‪I. V. Sasi passed away in Chennai on Tuesday. He was 69.

I.V.Sasi had problems in breathing and passed away around 11.15 am on his way to the Surya hospital in Chennai.He has made around 150 films in various languages including Hindi. He is known in South Indian films of late 70s, 80s, 90s primarily of Malayalam and Tamil films. He was also awardesd J.C Daniel, the highest award in Malayalm cinema. Born on 28 March 1948, ‪I. V. Sasi married Malayalam film actress Seema on 28 August 1980. He met her on the set of his film Avalude Raavukkal. Ever since, she has been his favorite heroine. They have worked together in more than 30 movies. ‪I. V. Sasi is survived by his wife, actress Seema and two children.
