Assam girl crowned second runners up at Mrs. World 2017

Washington: Reshita Baruah from Assam, who represented India at Mrs. World 2017 pageant, was crowned at the grand finale of the prestigious pageant. At the same pageant she also won the title of Mrs. Congeniality.

Reshita Baruah hails from the Jorhat district of Assam. She is the first woman from her state to represented India in this contest. Prior to this, she was crowned Mrs. India World, in 2017 at the Mrs. South Asia 2017 pageant.

Reshita Baruah competed against 21 other contestants in Everett, Washington, USA. She went through three rounds which included cocktail round, fitness round, and the evening gown round.
