Carrying on the trend, the politician recently posted a photo of superstar Rajinikanth at a U.S. casino. Subramanian also had a few things about the star gambling away in a foreign land.

It is a fact well-known that Rajinikanth visits the United States regularly to get his health check-ups done.

A lot has been speculated about his visits. From going under the knife to suffering from a heart attack, his visits have also garnered a lot of attention.

However, Swamy's tweet prods the ministry of finance to examine where the funds for these trips come from. The superstar had been shooting for his 164th film, Kaala Karikaalan, before leaving for the States.

Swamy's criticism comes at a particularly crucial time as reports about Rajinikanth's entry into politics keep doing the rounds. The actor has been denounced from multiple sides of the political spectrum for deciding to venture into politics.
