Katrina kaif to pair with Sushant for Abhishek Kapoor's next film

Mumbai : Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara isn’t going to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor’s next film. However, the news is a slightly more interesting one ,Katrina Kaif is to be seen starring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie.

The never-seen-before pairing would’ve been seen in Abhishek’s earlier film 'Fitoor,' but that never happened.

Sushant, who rose to stardom after being cast in Abhishek’s 'Kai Po Che' was offered 'Fitoor' opposite Katrina, but he was committed to doing Shekhar Kapoor’s 'Paani,' which unfortunately never took off.

The experience left both Abhishek and Sushant embittered towards each other; until now. As the 'Kai Po Che' pair celebrates its togetherness, Katrina will join them, leaving her 'Fitoor 'co-star Aditya Roy Kapur out in the cold.

Says a source close to the development, “It’s third-time lucky for the Katrina, Sushant pair. Kat was going to be cast opposite Sushant in 'Fitoor' and then in Karan Johar’s 'Driver.' These movies never happened, but they’re finally together.”
