Husband ends life seeing videos of wife with lover in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A woman from Mancherial district and her paramour from Jagtial allegedly drove the woman’s husband to commit suicide by sharing intimate videos of themselves on Wednesday. The videos have now gone viral on social media platforms, police said. The deceased is Nakka Dharmaraju, 27, resident of Dharmaraopet. He had married Nagalaxmi in March, 2017.

After watching the videos of his wife Nagalaxmi, the husband Dharmaraju committed suicide by consuming poison and succumbed while undergoing treatment. The incident was criticised on social media soon became the talk of the town with many social media users sharing the videos and criticising the woman on social media platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp. “A few days ago, the wife began an affair with Mahesh of Velgatur in Jagtial district and Mahesh shot intimate videos of him with Nagalaxmi wherein the two are also seen getting married to each other. He later shared the clips of the same with her husband, after which he was severely depression” said the Mancherial police. Nagalaxmi then began harassing Dharmaraju by constantly speaking to Mahesh over the phone and unable to bear the depression and constant harassment, her husband committed suicide by consuming poison on Friday. He succumbed while undergoing treatment at Mancherial Area Hospital on Monday evening. A case is registered against Nagalaxmi by the cops, who  added that videos were being removed from social media platforms and efforts are on to prevent the further circulation of the clips.
