Bihar: 9 students killed as vehicle rams school building

At least nine students were killed and 24 others injured after a vehicle rammed into a school building in Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announces Rs 4 Lakh each as ex-gratia to the families of the deceased where 9 students were killed.

All the injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital. According to Hindustan Times, police said the incident occurred around 1.30 pm when after school, the children were crossing the national highway. The Dharampur Government Middle School is located along the national highway. More details are awaited.
