Two terrorists killed in J&K's Pulwama, encounter underway

NEW DELHI: Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Tahab area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday.

Special Operations Group (SOG) Pulwama and 44 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a cordon and search operation in Tahab on Saturday night after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area.

A gunfight broke out early Sunday morning, in which the two terrorists were shot down. A counter-operation is currently underway.
