Ranchi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday redefined the 23 locations of Ranchi and Kolkata connected to the Income Tax Commissioner, Tapas Dutta. 3.5 million cash and 5 kilogram gold was recovered from Dutta's Kolkata hideout.

The investigating agency has registered a case against Dutta. Apart from this, the case has also been registered against eight people, including some companies related to Dutta. He was questioned more than 9 hours during 18 place raids in Kolkata...

The CBI on Wednesday raided 18 places in Kolkata and 5 places in Ranchi. According to the press release of the investigating agency, Dutta disturbed the income tax assistances of companies by taking bribe and saved them from paying huge tax.

In these cases, cases of Criminal Conspiracy, Criminal Misconduct and Illegal Gratification have been registered under the IPC sections.
