Bengaluru: After tasting defeat in the last assembly polls from Koratagere assembly segment, KPCC Chief Dr G Parameshwar is now contemplating on contesting the upcoming polls from the very same constituency. The reason is an inevitability to win the elections.

If sources are to be believed then Parameshwar was busy scouting out constituencies in the state where he would win the upcoming polls. In this bid he had selected Mudigere, Mahadevapura, Pulakeshinagar and Nelamangala, the pockets where Congress has strong voter base. But it is now learnt that Parameshwar has given up on the idea of shifting constituency and has decided to stick to Koratagere.

His supporters have reportedly convinced him to contest from Koratagere assembly segment as changing constituency is a great risk to take this time, specifically due to the effective campaigning going on by the BJP and the JD(S).Understanding the difficulties that he would face in case he changes his constituency, Parameshwar is likely to contest from Koratagere, which did not stand by him last time.
