Bengaluru: A day after BJP national president Amit Shah announced that former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa will be the party's Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Karnataka state assembly election, difference of opinion in the party state unit continued.

On Sunday party's rebel leader KS Eshwarappa did not attend party's state core committee meeting, instead as per sources, he preferred watching Bahubali 2 along with his family members at Orion mall, Rajajinagar.

According to the party sources, core committee meeting was chaired by BS Yeddyurappa and senior leaders including union minister Anant Kumar, DV Sadananda Gowda, R Ashok, Jagadish Shettar among others were present.

Interestingly on Saturday, as per the directions of the party national leadership, KS Eshwarappa has been given the task of leading the OBC cell of the BJP state unit. The next episode unfurling in the BJP house, which stands divided is to be waited and watched for.
