Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee (AICC) state in-charge, K C Venugopal who is on a three-day visit to Karnataka after assuming charge on April 29, had to deal with several complaints against the style of functioning of the state government and state party leaders on Tuesday.

His very first visitor was none other than former minister H Vishwanath, who it is learnt has submitted a three page complaint to the state in-charge.

Vishwanath who is known as a staunch critic of Congress party led state government in general and CM Siddaramaiah in particular, in his complaint alleged that though he had been active in Congress since his student days, off late he had been sidelined in the party by the outsiders.

"State ministers and KPCC leaders are enjoying the power instead of serving the people. Party has no hopes in 2018 general elections," he said to Venugopal.

Further it is gathered that Vishwanath urged Venugopal to replace both the CM and KPCC president Dr. G Parameshwar with original Congress leaders like Mallikharjun Kharge.
