II PUC results will be announced on May 10, says Minister Tanveer Sait

Bengaluru: II PUC examination results will be announced on May 10, confirmed state Primary and Secondary Education Minister on April 28.

The SSLC results will be announced within a couple of days thereafter, said Tanveer sait, briefing media on the result schedule.

The second PUC examination was held between March 9 and 27. Nearly 6,84,000 students have appeared for the examinations this year. Last year, leakage of chemistry question paper had caused lot of embarrassment to the public education department and resulted in inordinate delay in the announcement of results. So this year, the government and in particular the education department had taken many measures to prevent recurrence.

In addition, free travel arrangements in KSRTC buses were made for second PU students taking examinations. More than twenty thousand lecturers were involved in the evaluation answer scripts this time across forty-eight evaluation centers in the state.
