K S Eshwarappa accuses party leaders of overlooking Amit Shah's direction

Bengaluru : Leader of the opposition in the state legislative council and former deputy chief minister of Karnataka, K S Eshwarappa, has expressed regret at the growing indiscipline in BJP. He was addressing a press conference held in a hotel in the city on Thursday April 20.

"Our party was known for its discipline. But now indiscipline has set in. Take for example the failure of the concerned to implement the instruction of national president of the party, Amit Shah, to revise the list of office bearers that had been prepared unilaterally," he stated.

He said he is hurt by the fact that the committee comprising four members formed by Amit Shah to douse dissidence in the party within the deadline of February 10, has not been followed. He felt that this committee has thrown discipline to winds by not meeting even once since the national president formed it, which he said has pained him a lot.
