Ex-minister Chinchansur gets bail in check bounce case

Bengaluru: The 15th Additional APMM Court granted bail to former minister Baburao Chinchansur in the check bounce case, while asking him to appear before the court during the next hearing on June 1 without fail.

Anjana A Shanthaveer, 30, a resident of Nagarabhavi, had filed a private complaint in the court. She has stated in her complaint that Chinchansur had borrowed Rs 11.88 Crore in 12 instalments in 2011 at an interest rate of 12 percent per annum but failed to return. She also said that Chinchansur had borrowed the money saying his factories were running under loss.
