Bellandur froth spills over roads & hits motorists again

BENGALURU: Bellandur lake foam has been swelling again from Friday morning. Residents of apartments around the lake told TOI that the frothing has started to increase during the weekends. A local resident of an apartment adjacent to the lake said, "We have noticed that the foam usually starts to increase during the weekend and it spills around and hits the motorists."

The National Green Tribunal on April 20, pulled up the state government and several agencies involved ;BDA, LDA, KSPCB, blaming them for not stopping sewage discharge into the lake. The case is to be heard again tomorrow.
