JD(S) decides to 'let it go', Omar Abdullah likens Deve Gowda to Musharraf
Bengaluru: Nearly three days after Omar Abdullah invited the ire of netizens for his tweet comparing H D Deve Gowda to Perverz Musharraf, the JD(S) on Sunday decided to let go off the issue.
JD(S) National General Secretary Danish Ali on Sunday said that people will decide on the caliber of those who make caustic remarks against former prime minister H D Deve Gowda.
"Abdullah is educated is London. He can use his knowledge to ridicule. Our leader is from a rural background, we cannot hit back. So we have decided to let it go,"Ali said sarcastically.
