Bangalore University plans to conduct examination adalat

Bengaluru: To address complaints from several students about the delays and discrepancies in their exam results, Bangalore University plans to conduct an examination adalat. The decision was taken at a syndicate meeting recently.

Bangalore University officials said that this initiative will help solve the marks-card problem as several students have complained that delay in results has been affecting their academic performance.

Last month, many students studying in colleges affiliated to Central College staged a protest expressing unhappiness over the evaluation of 1st and 3rd semester B.Com and BBM examinations. They pointed out that they had been given single digit marks in some subjects. Following this, the varsity had constituted a committee to look into errors in evaluation.
