Blue Whale: Education dept. urges police to monitor cyber centers

Bengaluru: State education department has requested the police to monitor all cyber centers across the state to ensure that students do not browse deadly blue whale game.

In a letter, commissioner of state primary and secondary education Sowjanya has stated that there is a need to monitor activities of the students in the cyber centers.

Meanwhile, the commissioner also directed all the school head masters to hold awareness programmes on deadly internet games among the school students. "Teachers must create awareness about the affects of internet based games on students. School heads must engage SDMC members and parents in this awareness initiatives," she directed.
