Bengaluru: Even as speculations are going on with regard to the next cabinet expansion, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G Parameshwara said on Sunday that they are waiting for Governor Vajubhai Vala’s date for cabinet expansion.

Speaking to mediapersons at the Hubballi airport, he said, the chief minister will expand the ministry after getting the Governor's date."The CM has finalised the list of candidates to be inducted into the cabinet. The list has been finalised in consultation with the high command," he said.

Talking about the C-fore survey, which has predicted a Congress win in the state, Parameshwar said that the survey result has not gone down well with the BJP because it is not in their favour.“Let us assume that the survey is a paid survey of the Congress. But, what is preventing the BJP from releasing its internal survey,” he questioned.

“We have not relied on any survey, and we are confident of regaining power in 2018 on the basis of our party’s strength, good and clean governance given by us in the last four-and-half-years,” he added.
