KSRTC bags three national awards

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) which has won the hearts of thousands of passengers with its innovative and trendy initiatives, has another feather in its cap.

KSRTC won three awards under the "Best Intercity Connectivity" category, "Best Rural Connectivity' category and "Best Intra-city Connectivity" category.

The Flybus service, city bus services in small and medium cities and MITRA–the intelligent transport system of Mysuru city bus services of KSRTC won these awards.

Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy received the three national awards from Diwakar Raote, Minister of Transport, Government of Maharashtra and C P Singh, Minister for Transport, Government of Jharkhand on behalf of KSRTC during Prawaas Excellence Summit and awards ceremony on July 29 in Mumbai.
