KEA revises dates of CET option entry & seat allotment

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced a revision in the dates of CET option entry and seat allotment dates.

According to the officials, original option entry schedule was mentioned in the page no 9 of the CET brochure issued by the KEA. "But now as per the directions of the state government, we have slightly revised the timetable," said an officer from KEA.

As per the revised schedule, students can start entering their courses and colleges of choice from June 14. The last date for the option entry would be June 22. Based on this entries KEA will make a mock allotment on June 23.

According to KEA officials, to rectify the errors and add new colleges/ courses, students will be given two more days on June 23 and 24. Real allotment results will be announced on June 25.

Admission process: KEA officials have informed that between June 27 and 30 students exercise their option over confirming their seats, downloading the admission cards etc. They need to get admitted in the allotted colleges before 5.30 pm on June 30.
