Following action by both these central agencies, the state Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) too raided his house and stated that he possesses property worth Rs.3.5 crore, above his known source of income.

In the backdrop of these raids, the state government decided to suspend him from his service. However, fast forward June 2017, the state government wants to reinstate him to the same position.

According to the sources in the state government, under immense pressure, government has decided to revoke his suspension order. 'File is now moving. Within next two days his suspension order will be revoke," said sources.

"IT department and ED are against revoking suspension. But ACB which is under the control of the state government is silent on the issue. So, state government initiated the process," sources explained.
