The BJP has released manifesto for Bengaluru city just four days ahead of voting on May 12. In a 19-page manifesto, the BJP has listed 42 promises which serve as a blueprint that guides the BJP Government to bring back the glory of the proud city that Kempe Gowda founded.  powered by Rubicon Project 

The first promise is 'A new legislation for a New Bengaluru - called Bangalore Metropolitan Regional Governance Act (BMRGA) will be enacted to further strengthen the spirit of 74th Amendment to the Constitution of India.' 

The features of this legislation will include:
*Constituting a new Metropolitan Planning Committee (MPC) as per the provisions of the Constitution Integrating all agencies including intermodality of all transport agencies.
*Mandatory adherence to RMP by all agencies Accountability of Government agencies Right to service for all citizens Citizen participation Mandatory disclosure of Contracts and use of Public assets Annual Bengaluru City Report card.

The BJP has answered to how will BJP improve Bengaluru Planning, create Responsive and People-oriented Governance, BJP bring Transparency and Disclosure in Governance and in use of Public Money, uplift the urban poor, infrastructure etc.
